- Edit Mode Toggle — Staff Register now has a secure ON/OFF edit switch
- 30-min Session Timeout — Auto sign-out after inactivity with countdown warning
- Notification Bell — Live pending-approval count for coordinators
- Duplicate Detection — Warning when submitting same date + activity code
- Bulk Approve — Approve all pending entries at once (coordinator only)
- 5 Wrong Password Lockout — Admin panel blocked after 5 failed attempts

👤 How to Log Hours
- Sign in with your name and password from the login page
- Go to the 📝 Log Hours tab
- Select the cohort, enter the module/topic, and pick an activity code
- Enter your hours for each session in the Hours Breakdown section
- Click Submit — your entry is locked and sent for approval
⚠️ Entries are permanently locked once submitted. Ensure all details are correct before submitting.
✅ Approval Workflow
Entries go through a two-step process:
- Trainer submits entry (status: PENDING)
- Supervisor initials captured at submission
- Deputy Principal (Academics) or SIFA Coordinator approves (status: APPROVED)
Only APPROVED entries count as GOK counterpart contribution evidence for AUDA-NEPAD.

🔒 Security & Data
- All data stored locally in your browser (localStorage) — no internet required after first load
- Admin panel auto-locks after 10 minutes of inactivity
- Session auto-signs-out after 30 minutes of inactivity

- Submitted entries are tamper-proof — no edits after submission
- Passwords masked by default in Admin panel — click to reveal for 3 seconds
- Force password change required on first login
